Had Paul and his group out for some tuna fishing. We left the dock at 3:30 am to head out to the hambone, ended up going a little north of that, anyway when we got to our spot the wind was honking...bad! set up to drift and was only able to fish three rods. the conditions were rapidly going down the sh&*ter. The waves were starting to reach 6 foot and breaking not white caps but breaking( the waves were surfable) so I called trip after only 1 1/2 hrs of fishing. didnt have a touch. and I didnt hear that much getting caught that day. Had a slow ride in with two kinds of waves to battle the bunkerhead but she just bulldozed right on through them with out much hassle. I...lol....passed a 40 foot viking on the way in couldnt believe it. Anyway the crew was all safe and sound back at the dock at 12:00 pm. heard some guys say it was 5-7 some said 6-10 I felt it was 3-6 with a freak wave to wake you up a little.
