Took a short trip down to San Salvador on the 24th last month. Blew like hell the first day and last day we were there. Only made it out 1-1/2 days which was kind of a bummer, but better than nothing. Caught sh_t loads of barracuda for the bahamians, one bull gaffer, one 60# YF and one wahoo. Trip was scarred with numerous handicaps...only one rigger, no electronics and having to gravity feed 200 gallons of diesel into my buddies boat... We lost two other nice tunas and that was about it....I can't wait until I get a rig down there with a full spread and electronics that work....one of these days...
Ran into the Jabez boys from carolina there also. Our friend Hilton hosted a party for us the last night we were in town and we ate, drank and had a ball.....hope to get back soon.
