Better yet......drive on down to Little River and we'll go get your own. Youre welcome to go with us. I know it aint Morehead City but we do alright with the BIG SLOB HOOS. Heres a couple of BIG UNS caught out of here. My boy JEFF MARTINI is a WAHOO MAGNET. If theres a slob around he'll put her in the ice box.

    Ones a 101lber.....the others a 90.

    Ace1st,

I just ordered a couple ruckus raisers and Fatboy Archer superbars. Can you tell me a little about your Fatboy experience (not a fat joke)? My thought was to fish the ruckus raisers tight (short riggers or corner) and run the Fatboy long down the shotgun. Did you rig the Fatboy chasebait with wire for the hoo?

    Thanks,
    Will

Will... I run my RR's or the JT SPECIAL on the flat in the corners bout the 5th-6th wave back. Then put the FAT BOY down the center. I dont fish it too long though, probably 30-40ft behind the last RR. The FAT BOY came rigged with wire. Looks like 200lb+.

My FAT BOY......has a GREEN CHASEBAIT. The last time I fished it, I had a huge HOO sky on it a couple of times tryin to smash it from underneath. He never actually grabbed the Chaser. He ended up turning and smashed the Bally on the short rigger.

I like to fish my RR's close together on the outer edges of the wake where the wash is starting to clear up. Then I put the PRO BARS outside of the RR's, then Rigged BAllys on the Short and Long Riggers. I like to create the illusion of a huge Baitball starting to splinter off into smaller groups of fleeing baits. I also run a planer rod and sometimes a rigged bally on a Dick Weight just under and behind the RR's. I usually put out a bird on the LONG CENTER RIGGER WB with a green machine behind the bird.

It has worked great since using this pattern. I have caught SAILS, WAHOO, MAHI, TUNA and a white so far on the RR's.

And another bonus has been using the chasebaits with the RR's. No bait riggin, no tangles and I can get the rig back in the water quickly.

That RR and the PRO BARS accounted for many many MAHI last spring. And Im sure it raised alot of fish that turned on something else in the spread.

There will always be at least one RR in my spread.
