Late offshore flurry!

Got a call from the "Tarponator" early today, he had some time this afternoon to do a little fishing. Then "Wide Right Matt" calls to tell me he the afternoon off.
I told them to meet at the "NV" at 1 PM we would try to fly a kite out front for a while. On the way out my buddy Brad meets us at Lauderdale Marina and hops aboard. Now if I would have tried to plan a trip like that with three buddys it never would have happened.

Anyway it took about 45 minutes to catch bait and we were flying the kite by 3PM . Not long after a nice color change formed in about 150 feet, the edge only lasted about an hour, we went 1 for 2 in about an hour and headed home a little after 5.

This has been the most consistant sail fishing I have had here in the last twenty years or so. Now if some reel numbers show up we will be in business

Although the bite ha slacked down here the last few days we are managing to get 1 or 2 a day.
