Sorry for the late report but we were having camera issues and finally got our pictures. We chunked 1 YFT and read others under the boat when the sword rod goes off and man is she going off. She dumped half of a jerry brown spooled 70 on the first run. We pull the chute and start chasing. hour 15 minutes later up comes a manta ray. What a disappointment but she put on a great fight. We were trying to get a good picture but she went to make a run and i broke her off rather than keep playing with her we had tuna to catch!!! or so i thought. We couldn't get back on the fish and of course while we're playing with what we think is a monster, hear of others picking away. Get on the troll at day break and instantly put a chicken dolphin in the box. Keep trolling and trolling and trolling. Only life we saw was a swordfish basking on top but he wanted nothing to do with us. After several passes and not even a sniff, he slowly sinks on his way back down to the depths (he must've heard us talking about sliding up for the dart shot) Then around 2 we get slammed by bigeyes (little ones ~50-60 lbs) 4-6 of them attack a single green machine spreader bar absolutely destroying the thing taking the bar with them one was hooked and we land him. We circle back around and the way back goes off with a nice blue. We play her to the end and these are the only pics i have of the trip.
