Last couple days

Yesterday was hero or zero day. Ran the monster stuff. Only one shot all day. Fish ran at boat and jumped off.

Today went back on the regular spread. Wind switched west southwest... Steady pick of stuff all the way from the inlet back to the inlet. Final tally was four sails including a real stud. Had one of a double of blues bowed up. Pretty sure it was a wahoo that hit lure trailing behind fish that cut us off and left only about a heads length of leader.
Add to that about a dozen dolphin and it was smiles all around...

The boss man was over the top tickled with this trip. Ok the slob blue he wanted evaded us but something like ten sails and 30 dolphin and lots of other bites kept us busy...

He was so tickled that he has scrapped all old plans of going north and has me working on basing this boat here for long term and Palm Beach for the rest of the time...

Instead of comming home tomorrow we are headed to Nassau until he closes on a slip here. That part gets complicated with the islands issues... So Nassau is new home base at least foir this season. May do a couple legs of the BBC just to keep our toes wet...

deep are you looking at the whole summer?
what about hurricanes etc is that of any concern?
i know last year they were rolling past/through the bahamas in late august like no ones business as we had to sit and wait on two separate occasions on our way down to trinidad.

I think alot of owners go thru the same thought process...boat fuel vs jet fuel, florida/caribbean weather vs new england weather etc etc. Island hoppin' don't sound too bad..
