Last Call, OC CKO Tourney Day 1

Fished our first day of the Canyon Kickoff Tourney. Caught a handful of young gaffer dolphins. I believe I have a fish that is tied for 3rd of the dolphins at the moment (but small, 14 pounds) It was in first for a while, but some damn Squid Vendor came in with something bigger!!! Go get em Pino!

We were in the deep of the washington. Things looked fishy, but just never came together for us. The Chasin Tails was in my general vicinity and they are in 1st place of the billfish division with 2 whites, Then there is the Intrinsic with 1, the Playmate with 1 and the Billfisher with 1 sail.

The tuna is the hotly contested category with a battle of 50 to 60 pound yfins, with 60 something in 1st.

A 49 wahoo is atop that division, and the bfin is 60 somethin as well.

Will be out there tomorrow hoping for a whopper. Will post up upon my return.
