Last Call MHC 1/24

Well my lousy luck has stretched another day. Fished near the trawler and had bait, whales and porpoises. Got bit on the planer with the pink flasher.

Had the leader on the rod in 1/2 an hour and the fish made a run and the swivel hung in one of the guides... Kapow!!! That one was a first for me on the big guides with the spros. I have had it happen using 50 pound rods with smaller guides, but never this.

Dad said it best... It is like betting 100 bucks on a horse that is a 40 to 1 long shot and watching it trip right before the finish line.

Back at it tomorrow if the wind is not blowing.

All Im going to say Frankie is your going to get yours. I have that feeling this last stretch is going to be a good one. Nice weather back side of the full moon.
