    The last 15 Tarpon trips

Excuse me for not posting much as of late but I have been pretty busy this year and have not had much free time. I have done 15 tarpon trips in the last 9 days and the fishing has been nothing short of phenomenal. My anglers landed an astounding 19 tarpon out of approximatly 75 takes. The majority of our trips have been out of Haulover and Government cut and few in Port Everglades. Port Everglades has been slow for this time of year but the fishing down south is making up for it. Most of the fish have been caught drifting shrimp and or live pinfish. We seem to have been getting the big fish on the pinners.
I would like to congradulate Rick , Joe, Ward, Harry, Nancy and Jennica on landing their first tarpon. Also John, Joe, Ward and Mike for landing fish that were over 100lbs.

Lastly here is photo of Matt with a damn nice fish on 9 wt fly rod.
Before everybody freaks out, both Matt and I both have permits to harvest a tarpon and we took extreme care measuring and releasing this beauty.

Good luck out there and be careful~!

Fine piece of work Jeff. Glad you're getting into them.

Nothing better than hearing the rattle of those gills off in the darkness.

Keep the reports coming when you have the time.
