"Ladies Only" on Covert Mission!

This is a VERY LATE REPORT from last week. I was lucky enough to be invited by the Covert Mission better half Sandy for a Ladies Only trip last week, my wonderful hubby made sure I had the time off to enjoy this trip.

I head to the boat on Wednesday last week for my first offshore trip since last July. I get to the dock and meet my fellow anglers Sue Shaw and Sandy McCarthy. I also get greeted by our all-star Captain and Mate team of Capt. Keith Greenburg and Jeff Theill, this gets me stoked for a great day on the water!

After napping on our way out I wake up to a beautiful morning out @ the Hot Dog to beautiful conditions. Keith and Jeff get our lines set up and we start our day w/a "few" bluefish. We troll along somemore and get a knockdown which Sue battles to bring aboard a nice BFT giving us our "over" tuna. We weed thru a few more bluefish and I get to bring over our "under" BFT. We enjoyed the rest of our Ladies' Day @ the Hot Dog playing w/a few more bluefish and releasing 2 more BFTs.

I had an awesome first day on the water w/the Covert Mission team and oh, BTW, . . .

. . . caught my first BFT as well as Sue Shaw getting her first BFT!!!! We weighed Sue's back @ our shop and it came in @ 74.5 (bled & gutted). She fought that baby like a trooper (or should I say trucker? ) Thank you to our awesome Captain Keith and amazing cockpit Coach Jeff!!!
