For about the last 6 weeks we've had a really nice bite on the YFT. While the average fish are in the 20-30 pound class, we've had some over 100. Several of our fishermen have been on fish for 2-3 hours and had them break off. There are some big boys here now. I've seen fish to 85 Kilos breezin' with the porpoises, and my Captains report seeing 100 Kilo fish. Outside with the spinners we've been very successful with the Archer SuperBar 6" meatball bars, and with dumpin' giant squid chunks ahead of the breezing porpoise. Inshore we've had fish to 60 pounds within 100 yards of the Las Arenas light house by chunkin' with squid parts. Even though the unseasonably cool waters have made us wait for the dorado bite, there are some big ones starting to show as witness Mr. Kenneth Allen. It's all good.
