    Kona fishing info

    i will be traveling to hawaii in mid-april and was looking to do a side trip to kona to fish for a few days...I just was curious if anyone had any recommendations for boats/captains.

    any info would be appreciated

    Showtime, good to hear that you gonna be able to get some fishing in at Kona. Mako Mike has been there and seems to know some stuff abut Hawaii so maybe he will help you out. I did a google search and found some links that may help.

    Showtime,
    Number one boat for me is the Sundowner with Darrin Issacs. Book direct and you'll save a couple of buck. Stay away from the activity desks when you are out there they don't know their ass from their elbow about fishing. Also some good light tackle casting (Whipping to the Hawaiians) off the shore on the Kona-Kohala coast. Let me know if you need more info.
