    Great Videos!!! Thanks for sharing

The Australian Braid has become my go to knot, I just cant get the bimini tied as neat as the braid and I like the snubber aspect of it. It took me a lot of watching videos before I finally figured it out.

One thing that helps me keep in sequence with doing the braid is every three crosses I clear the tag end to keep it from getting twisted up in the loop, and your so right about starting the knot.... keep it really tight or the finish product will be sub par. That was the hardest thing for me to figure out by just watching videos.

I do have a question for you about the finish. I don't weave the tag end back thru the braid, I just do a half hitch and then the reverse uni as you call it. Have you had the knot slip without going back thru the braid?

The weaving back through is the best by far. I have never had a problem with one of those. The reason I do the lighter mono like a bimini is it is too flexible to punch through the braids. I try to keep a set of hollow needles around but I lose those damn things left and right.

I have had the bimini finish way unravel a little on a white marlin afew years ago but it held fine. It just didn't look perfect and I suspect I tied it abit loose. The method I showed is as perfect a knot as I have ever seen.

Kite fishing I have caught sixtyish yellowfins on each leg before on 250. You cut the legs even and snell a circle to each. Those two tinker mackerel zipping along side by side just does something to a tunas head

Looking good Buff! I'm still using that yucatan knot you taught me in PR. Works flawless. Only problem I've had is braid to heavier leader. The knot is too bulky and hangs up on the guides. Got something with a smoother transition?

I will get some hollow needles and do a loop to loop. I will also do my version of an albright manana. What size leader are we talking about?
