Klansman & red headed slut headed for Jersey

Swell Rider Ken and I are headed out early in the morning for Somerset NJ to go to the Saltwater Fishing Expo. Stop by the "Fish Finder Tackle" booth and check out some of our very successful bluefin lures, the "Klansman" and the"Red Headed Slut", so named by some of our northern bluefin fishermen that visit us in MHC. It is just hard to put these names in a catalogue.

Good meeting you too Brian. I will be especially interested in how you do with our lighter 1/2 oz. heads for the yellowfins. We do exceptionally well with the lighter 1/4 and 1/2 oz. skirts and Lanterns. "SEND PICTURES!" The Somerset Saltwater Fishing Expo was well attended, and I my-self had a very good and productive show for my "Fish Finder Tackle" products. I was really encouraged to talk to those of you that told me and even called me prior to the show that you had purchased my skirts last year and were coming to the show to restock up because you had very good luck with my skirts. I also had opportunities to set up some of the local tackle shops with my lures and look forward to growing our business with more support from northern fishermen, local guides and tackle shops.
Ken Mullen and I each booked charters for fishing in the Morehead City and Atlantic Beach area. There was a lot of interest in both our inshore and offshore fisheries. From redfish, to amberjacks, sharks, dolphin, tuna ,and all sorts of bottom fishing for snapper and grouper. All in all it was a very productive show and I can't wait to do it again next year. This makes more than 6 years that I have attended trade shows at Sommerset, 4 for fly fishing and now 2 for conventional fishing. At all the shows I was more than impressed at the numbers of serious fishermen that they ran through the show. I can't wait to return next year with new products. I will make sure that I remember to bring the hand line planer kits next year! Very stupid on my part to have forgotten them this year.
Thanks again to everyone that purchased my "Fish Finder Skirts" and booked charters with us. I enjoyed talking and meeting everyone. If there is anything else that I can do for those of you , just call or e-mail me.

    Good Luck & Good Fishing.

    Capt. Joe Shute
