key west bach party

hi, i'm seriously bored at work today and am in the prelim phases of thinking about my bachelor party destination. i was thinking key west as its fairly cheap to get to from NJ, you don't need a car, the bars are cheap and fun and the fishing is supposed to be great.

thinking of a jan through april timeframe, any suggestions from folks on the best time to go in that span? preferred fishing would be offshore for marlin, tuna or sails. second day if possible for tarpon, but would go based on the offshore bite, not the tarpon one. if chances at both during a certain time then great.

also, any suggested charters to check out would be great as well. thanks.

i would honestly say go to miami!!

Bachelor party in miami would be insane... Call jimmy on the l and h.. he is the best around or the miss britt is just as good and will put you on serious amounts of sailfish, cobia, dolphin, kings, and anything else that is biting at the time.

Spend the weekend or week or however long down there and stay in coconut grove.. You can go right to south beach and hang out or just stay in coconut grove which is BEAUTIFUL and the night life is very upscale and always pumpin!!!!!

There are some really nice hotels such at the ritz carlton, and lower prices hotels like the marriot which is really nice and you will enjoy!

There is also aplace in key west or isla called captain pips place. If you rent one of their rooms you get a free boat for everyday you stay! great prices and nice boats!!!



Also.. Depending on where you fly from.. join the 9 dollar fare club for Spirit airlines and you will find flights for 8-9 dollars and sometime they have the 1.00 dollar flights! you can get them to either palm beach or lauderdale and just drive which is worth it with the airfare money you willl save,

i am flying myself, my wife, and my child to orlando in sept for 94.00 round trip!!

Key West is a great place for bachelor parties. April is when the World Sailfish Championship is so there will be lots of sails around then. Marlin are scarce and not worth fishing for there. I recommend hiring some of the guys that have the center consoles there. You will have a great day with them.
