Key Largo/Islamorada Sword'n grounds
I'm planning on being down in the Key Largo/Islamorada area around March 17-28th and was wondering if anyone knew of a good place to get a shot at swordfish(area/depth)? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

I used to fish about 1000' of water out past the 409 hump off islamorada... The better area is off the upper end of Key largo. Setting up in 1200-1500 off carysfort and drifting up just about to miami is really good... possibly the best...

Thanks for the direction guys... What would you say my chances are out there with a good spread of live bait and squid late march? Also I havent looked at the charts yet but how far abouts is the 409 hump from conch reef? Thanks again for your info and I may be looking to charter a night or two also, so I will try and let you guys know early since these things book fast.
