Its at the end of a canal, and right on US1. The restaurant is alright, a little overpriced if you ask me. I would rather go down the street to the Fish House for dinner. There are a lot of liveaboard looking boats in the marina. The entrance to the canal can be too shallow at low tide for some boats. Be sure you know the rules when going in and out of "crash corner." It has that name for a reason. There are not really any views from the hotel either.
The fishing is great just like anywhere in the keys.
All that being said, I've just used it as a jump off place before heading to Chub Cay, Bimini or Nassau. If I were going to the Keys on vacation, I would find a different place.
