    Katie's 1st Sailfish

    Fishing from Quepos Costa Rica aboard the Estrella de Mar my 8 year old daughter fought her first Pacific Sailfish

    Admittedly her dad helped hold the pole. He was afraid she might lose the rod and reel overboard. I was afraid she might go over with it rather than upset her dad.

    30 minutes of hard reeling, and she landed this one.
