    Kai'Nana's ahis...

Found the porpoise the last couple of trips.

12/30/11 got doubles and called it an early day.

01/21/12 (solo mission) took awhile but found the porpoise, got 1 missed 1.

    Sick Catch

Nice class ahi. Congrats! How far did you have to run? What side of the island are you leaving from? I only fished there once on the Magic and it was great fishing for bills. Never saw those guys.

    Carson,
Thanks... Waianae is the Leeward side of Oahu, that's where the Kai'Nana calls home. 12/30 was about 22 miles, 1/21 was about 17 miles both times in the porpoise. It's interesting you mention Magic, Russel (Capt) got 4 ahis (120's to 160's) yesterday (Monday), I really tried hard to get off of work as I was thinking based on the weather and the moon phase yesterday was going to be good... woulda/shoulda/coulda.

    Thanks again
    Aloha
