    I'm not suggesting release by number of releases. Last time I checked there was a formula for estimating the size. The tourneyment would have to.......

    Don't get me started on "certified" observers determining one's fate in a tournament. Sorry, but although some may be good and qualified, several don't know jack about billfish, let alone being able to ID a fish in real life situations.
    No realistic weight measurements are possible with "formulas".--- what are you going to do--- slide a 110" fish through the door, measure it's girth and release it w/o a flying gaff?
    Perhaps we should leave the Release only agruements to another day and thread

    Probably right Glenn.It would be a whole lot easier just to settle on a hook type or get NMFS out of the tourneyment regulating business. Guess we will see how it shakes out.
