JPR rods, simply amazing!

Payed a visit to JPR rods again a couple of weeks ago to bend a couple of the new Blanks Paul had just gotten in and I couldn't resist once again! This time it turned into double trouble .

New JPR custom OTI Tuna Sniper 50# and Synit Venom 450g jigger! Both rods are equipped w/ Fuji DPS reelseats, aluminum gimbals, and Fuji SiC MSNG guides in gunsmoke.

Due to the funky color of the kevlar wrap on the Synit we went with a nice dark metalic green as the primary wrap color. Paul worked his magic with the diamond butt wrap.

check out the clean epoxy work, very nice again Paul.
Now let's have a closer look at the Tuna sniper.

Very, very nice butt wrap. Paul is awesome at color selection. All I told him was that I wanted some gunmetal in there to tie in my Dogfight.

We had discussed using the new Fuji casting guides until I found out how much they cost

I do need to add this in, not only did Paul do some amazing work here but he did it in amazingly short amount of time. I wanna say I finalized my orderabout 10 days prior to my NC trip. When I came to pick up the day before the trip I realized I really didn't have any poppers to throw, so I raided the JPR jig and popper stockpile and picked up some sweet OTI Komodo's, Wombat's Goanna's, and Wave Dancers, (yes JPR rods has wave dancer's in stock in every color ). Paul is such a nice guy he even offered up his Stella 20k for me to use on the trip! Thanks again JPR rods, OTI and Synit for making some damn good fishing products! Oh and yes both rods were used down there in Wilmington NC

A client and good friend Brent ( aka "Otoro' ) has got 130's right down to chunking outfits from Paul / JPR......was checking them out in his tackle room the other day.....very sexy and very well built !!!!
