    John Bayliss' Tarheel

Anybody seen (or even better have pics of) Bayliss' Tarheel boat? I believe she just hit the water and is to be fishing the Va. Beach tournament today - Saturday. Evidently, she was torn down to a bare hull, new top side and house added by Bayliss Boatworks. Dying to see her. Capt. Bayliss is at the helm....WATCH OUT BOYS!!!

Tis a single C18. Heard from Bull Tolson she's cruising at 30 kts. Can't wait to see her.

    A single C-18 that cruises 30 knots?

    How big is this boat?

Saw her outside Bayliss's shop on Monday. She still had a lot to be done, but John said the boat would be ready for Virginia Beach. That boat sure does raise fish.

I was at the Bayliss yard yesterday and there was a bunch of talk about the boat. It is a 48' and a Scarborough hull. Sweet restoration... saw a bunch of pics. They also restored the 41' Scarborough "Retriever".
Not surprising, their work is second to none and attention to detail is amazing. When many of the other yards are quiet or closed.... Bayliss was buzzing with the two BIG builds.
    Love that place.

44' or 48'? She's registered as 43.9'. Either way, can't wait to see her. I'm not a facebook guy, so if anyone is inclined...how about copy and post some pics.
