Hey, I just bought another Avet....this time it was the HX in single speed. The price was 289 from Charkbait shipped. Freakin 115 bucks to spool 500yards of 80lb hollow core Jerry Brown. Braid prices have gone through the roof! Anyhow, not to get off subject, a lot of people use to compare Baker reels to Avets, while searching reviews online about the HX i found a lot of people comparing them to this John Baker reel and it seemed that people said the baker reels were really stout, and strong. I saw a picture of one, and was ready to go back on Charkbait and order one for myself, only to find out that they don't sell his reels anymore. Anyone know what happened to this company and if you can still get a hold of any of his reels? I hear the customer service fell off because they got in over their head, and people who need parts for it are $H&T out of luck??? I just think they are sweet looking reels, and those who have used them say they are tanks, so i was curious to see if anyone here knew how to acquire one Thanks.
