So the original question back in March 08 was " Who makes the best jigging reels". The answer to that would be Shimano, either a Stella or an Ocea Jigger, followed closely by Jigging master, Alutecnos, Diawa.
In my opinion the Avets and Accurates are very good reels , just not the best jigging reels!
As Gman commented "the best jiging gear is imported" unless you live in Japan, Italy or Taiwan.
