don't be scared of reverse
Other than they are bad ass boats, I would love to know how they fish. I think Bobby and Box might have raised a bill or two on one quite a while back that is similar to what you are asking.
I have no personal experience on them but...
There is one that stays in Shandy that looks to be around that vintage... Cut n Dry i think is the name... I think there is some connection with greenville loop seafood but im not sure. I also think the guys that own rameseas used to have one before their bridge boats. Might want to ask those guys...
yeah the cut n dry is jeff scotts of greenville loop seafood, great ride and damn its wide, huge cockpit
there is a thread buried on this site that tells the story. There are also hundreds of build photos on this site as well, its a photo tour of the factory, they are great boats , but I'm partial to them because I own a Cape, 2001
I heard from guys who fish them regularly that they do not ride like true Carolina boats, and they are wetter than all hell..
but they sure look very pretty.
Well I can say from first hand eveperience that they are not wet unless it is super rough and the wind is catching the spray. In that situation any boat is wet. They ride great very smooth with the sharp entry. They dont bow steer and they dont pound. You have to remember it is a 36 footer.
