Put me down for the 45' in about 7 years. Until then its the

Let me ask you something about boat building. A few years ago Paul Spencer was building some model hulls and taking them to south carolina to have them tank tested. I think one of the goals was to build a big sportfisher that could break the 50 mph mark.

Could you do something similar and make changes to the mold that would increase the speed of the boats you turn out? Just being curious so I hope I don't sound dumb.

Sea draggin...close but no cigar yet I think...!I used to run a prop shop In ches..va we did 99% of the boat builders In NC & the charters...We did the proping for the spencer 57 a few years back man that thing was sick....The cruise speed was 41knts..Problem was the hull design or the design & placement of the struts was causing cavation burn at the root of the props bad...We fixed them 4 times & they were $$$$ props...But at any point I do belive thats was the fastest rig of Its size & type on the east coast...

Jimmy, I saw a piece in the MHC paper this summer about a yard in Beaufort or Harkers Island building a mid 50's sportfisher that will be doing 52 - 55 kts. I'm not sure what the Hines Farley Triple Crown is cruising at but it blew by the Pirates Cove Tourny million dollar boats like they were standing still

IBW is in Buxton (Hatteras)--- There are rumors, however, that Capt Pete may be doing a super repower of the Dawn

OOOOHHHHHHH, I didn't know that. I was thinking several years back when Jim put down his deposit on the Jester he had said it was being built in Morehead, but I guess I didn't hear him correctly.

Thanks....I guess it really doesn't matter....I probabaly couldn't afford the new engines alone for petes boat.

But you gotta dream.....I'm envisioning a WESMAC
