Jackspot OCMD 7/30

Fished the south end of the Jackspot out of OCMD on Saturday. We managed to get two bluefish and 8 other mystery bites and one knock down that spoiled about ¾ -1/2 of a Penn 50 wide and we couldn’t stop it and it wound up spiting the hook before we could get a good hook set. It hit on a pink/blue sea witch with a med. Ballyhoo on a #2 planner. Our other 8 bites were short hits just before the hook. Our spread consisted of 9 rods pulling green spreader bars, reddish pink spreader bar, blue/white islander w/med ballyhoo, pink/white islander w/med ballyhoo, a mixture of blue/white, blue/pink, pink/green, light green/dark green sea witches and a green machine WWWB.

We hit the Jakspot on the way back in today. We jsut stopped there to let some 1st timers reel in some fish. We caught 1 Big bluefish and 2 king mackeral. We caught the makeral on a down planner and a drone.
