It's a Small World After All!!!!

It really is a small world now.

Got a call the other day from a captain on the west coast that truly verifies just how small the world has shrunk as a result of technology.

He had just read an article on a web site about salmon fishing and had some questions about one of our Dredge teasers so he decided to call. During the conversation I noticed a slight delay and asked where he was calling from. It turns out he was the captain of a 350ft. fishing trawler and was calling on a satellite phone from the middle of the Bearing Sea. He told me he had been out there since some time in early January fishing for Pollock and heading back into port….oh, and while he was on the phone with me he was on the internet flipping through our web site. Now how cool is that.

Its an AMAZING world we live in.

As double-edged as the Japanese may be...they have some amazing boats like the one you mentioned.

I saw something similar with literally an assembly line with conveyor belts and flash freezing capabilities for the catch.
