    Islamorada Saildog report

Arrived Sunday morning very early AM. Fished today with Brian Cone. Sail bite had been very slow lately. Released the first saildog by 9 AM.

We had a pretty good day considering the bite had been slow.

We ended up with 4 of 7 sailfish. We had four fish on the long kite bait right as we were pulling lines in for the day. Hooked two of those and pulled hooks on both of them. We had a great time. Fished a very hands-on deal. I don't know of anything better than watching a sail eat a bait and feeding him a hook. My oldest son released two, his first billfish. If there is a better thing to do with your kids that this, I don't know what it is.
