    Islamorada Febuary 2008

I'll be in Islamorada for a couple of weeks in February. We're driving down and I'm going to take my Carolina Skiff with me. I want to fish the back country but have never fished there before. Looking for ideas and advice. I'll probably charter somebody for at least one trip and would welcome any suggestions.

There is a set of charts for the back country that are super-imposed with aerial photos, but I cant remember who makes them. Invaluable if you dont want to spend the night on a flat! I will see if I can find the ones I have and post them up.

Not the one I have but the same principal

The advantage of the aerial photos is that you can see the wheel ditches that the locals use that aren't on the nautical charts.

Thanks, I'll check it out. The guy I'm renting the house from fishes alot and is going to look over the charts with me. I would like to get a chip for my chartplotter before I go.
