Isla Mujeres March 24-26

You should be able to find a trip before then. But if not, bring lots of cash(1500-2200 for each day you want to fish) and you shouldnt have trouble getting a boat to take you out. Just ask around down there...

Look up Anthony Mendello before you go to Isla. He has 2 boats at the Lima Fuel Dock and if you email him ahead of time he may be able to hook you and your son up. Other wise you can also get a couple of locals out of Cancun to come over and pick you up on Isla. They are less money but older and slower. Depending on where the sails are they may or may not be able to run to the preferred grounds. But, being local thay can fish live bait, pitch and back into balls of feeding sails. Things that the US boats cannot.

Does it cost a couple of grand to fish down in Mexico? Or is that just for sails?
