    Isla Mujeres Help

    Hey guys, I have a good friend leaving next week for 7 days on Isla. He's going to attempt to get offshore a day or two, but his wife is going to limit his boat time. He mentioned he's worried about being bored sitting by the pool. I told him how many trips I've made very interesting by prospecting the beaches, docks and rocks for some extra fishing fun time.

    Since I haven't been to Isla myself I'm hoping someone can help us out with some information about places, tackle and techniques that would help him find a few finny friends!

    I was planning on sending him with a Stella 5000 with 30 pound braid and some leader and a box of small plugs and jigs. The rod would be a 15 to 25 pound stick. I also thought about sending him with something slightly heavier.

    Any guidance would be tremendously appreciated!!!

    HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend the Swordfish.... Justin is a phenominal fisherman, I used to work for him..
