    Isla Mujeres, Customs requirements etc.

We are planning a trip there in late March with the boat. Does anyone have any tips on what I will need to do concerning checking in with the Mexican authorities? What type's of document's do we need to bring? Any suggestions for a marina would also be appreciated. Thanks in advance...

Check out Villa Vera (Puerto Isla Mujeres Marina) most US boats dock there. Search it on google they have a website and they would know what is required from customs.

If they do not have slips in Isla, Hacienda Del mar in Cancun would have them.

You will need several (I think 5 or so) copies of your documentation, insurance, and captain's licenses.

For your return trip it will help to have a customs sticker.

I know a few years ago there were about 5 or 600 dollars worth of fees/permits to buy when you got there. I don't know what it is now.
