Isla Mujeres April 2008 - Need advice / boat

Hey All,
I am thinking about dragging 8-10 guys to Isla for my bachelor party and was looking for some input. Whee is the best place to stay? "Downtown" or in a house on the beach? Looks like lodghing is pretty reasonable however you choose but I have not been able to find much about boats there. Does anyone have any leads for me?
Thanks in advance,
Eric

Some of the boats are starting to bug out of Isla by then. Here are a couple of options that may still be around

Pumpin Hard Capt Gary Stamm - In Cancun
Big Hunter - I think it would have to be early april - Capt Brian Peele

capt Anthony Mendillo - Keen M and Lily M (I think) I have never fished with him but many friends have and he comes highly recommended. He is there most all of the year.

I will PM you some phone numbers.

In April, some of the boats may already be gone. I believe Capt. Gary Stamm will be in Cancun on the Pumpin Hard, and I know several of the Oregon Inlet Boats will still be there. Give me a call and I can give you Gary's Cell.

Thanks Bill and Franky. I figured most of the Carolina boats would be headed north. I would appreciate the contact info for whoever might still be there.

I would give a nod to Anthony as well. I have never fished with him, but have fished alot along side of him. He is a class act to fish around.

I fished w/ the Lily M last year. Anthony was not the captain, but we did get on more fish than any one else on a slow day. I have no problems recommending them. You will have to split up the group though because his boats are not as large as the visiting American fleet. Some of the Texas guys might still be around at that time, and a few in P. Aventuras. Let me know if you need more info.

Gaffman, You may be right about arch. I tried to call him the other day to see if he had any open dates and I never heard anything back.
