The was the bite on the trip with the full moon still shining at mid day....funny stuff, sweet balckfin.....we are really kicking sround ditching the 454 merc in ours and dropping in a diesel.....got some great advice from Jawz and we did some tire kicking at the boat show.....it sure would be nice to triple our range. We also spent some time at the Goode windlass booth......if the anchor locker was bigger it would be a no brainer.....looks like we will be still using the poly ball this year.

Bigfish, we have 250 Cummins 6BTA'a (was converted from gas by the previous owner). Burns about 22 gallons per hour running. Cruise at 23kts with a top end of 28. Holds 260 gallons. Plenty of range for what we do!
