Im gonna start pulling ballys more this year and got a few trackers. How heavy of a leader are you guys using with these with small/med ballyhoo? Is it still ok to use a chin weight?

80 - 100 lb mono (fluoro later in the season) 1/4 ounce chin weight.

I use 100 to 130lb leader with 1/2 ounce chin weight with the ilanders you mentioned.

I'm going with 100lb floro across the board this year the exception being if I'm looking for the blue man or bigeyes.

I would start with hundred if you dont get a bite and are marking fish go to 80 floro. Still no bite maybe 60 floro.

I use 400 LB doubled over 49 strand cable. Do you want some of that too?

Since you fish out of Montauk and stand a decent chance of hooking larger yellowfin and bigeyes then we catch down here I would not go below 100lb leader.
