No the road is not open, some time in early October.

You can get to Hatteras via ferry from Swan Quarter or Cedar Island then from Ocracoke to Hatteras, you must have a reservation for the Cedar Island or Swan Quarter.

We are booked tommorow, I can't wait to get back out there.
