drop some lines in for bluefin!! marked them in 600-800 feet down around 225 feet.
we weren't in the tilefish spots yesterday but we tried anyway. had a number of dogfish double headers... |

Nice tiles. How deep do you guys fish them up there? Down here it is 35 to 50fathoms starting. Never had a golden on but I have definitely put a hurting on the blue jaws a couple of times. Do you use different baits or something for the goldens?

I've also heard them called greys. Not sure what the proper name is. Not many people down here fish for them, and the ones that do are usually pretty hush, hush about it.
