I guess your gonna be at the fun tourney but if you're not. When I come in to the scales tell him you're part of the Cammys Dad crew and don't take no for an answer... Looks like I'm fishing every day right on through the mania so I should have the qualifiers spotted and rounded up. You're always a welcome person aboard any boat I'm on...

I'm in a mood after robbing the nursery last week. I'm stoked to get back in the adult lounge this week.

Well not really. I received a phone call over the weekend from Pete Grimbilas of Mako Mania and Pt. Pleasant Charter Boat Association.

Last year I covered the Mako Mania tournament in Pt. Pleasant NJ.

MAKO MANIA - Pt. Pleasant, NJ 2007

There is always some heavy hitters in at the scales. There was 3 or 4 photographers at the dock and the weigh masters, sharks and spectators. Pete loved the coverage that I provided for them and there was many of great shots taken but there was one to many people on the docks.

So with the safety concerns Pete asked me to step back and they would provide the same coverage that I did all day long and both days.

Pete also said that they will be happy to provide the pictures to any of the participants that wants them free of charge.

One good thing Joe Larosa can't step on my toes

So I would like to welcome Mako Mania to Sportfishermen.com!

I will be up for the Captains Meeting and probably the awards. See you all soon!

There is seems to be a bit of confusion as to what I meant with the toes comment in my original post and I just wanted to clear it up before anyone else scratched thier heads over it. On the dock last year I was wearing flip flops and obviously I was in the way and Joe Accidently stepped on my feet a few times both says and it was an on going joke that Joe and I had on the docks for those days. It was meant to be funny. Sorry for the confusion
