Great product.....Excellent Customer Service
The HydoGlow is a very popular FAD in Fla. Most Sword fishermen here have them on their boats....Many pelages (Mahi, Ono, Swords, etc.) come to this FAD at night and right behind your boat...... If your going to use a FAD like the HydroGlow, go with the biggest one they make.....the larger your light spread is, the better.....its a big Ocean. |

We have the 4 footer. It is a great light and very durable. I would recommend getting the hard case for storing it when not in use.
and those that I know that had to get theirs warrantied, had superb customer service. just as an example. one of their reps came to our fishing club meeting with some forsale at a discount. I did not have my check book on me at the time and he trusted me to send him a check later in the week. now that is trust and customer service ![]() |

Aloha!
The green glow of that light has proven to be good at attracting all bait fish. Should work geat for herring on the pier squid at the railroad dock night blues,,,turn it off if ya get too many anchovies eating yer chum The thing about the color.. The green glow seems to penitrate the water good. A white light will allso work at attracting bait but the white light can be too bright for the predators to enter the hallo of light,,, They seem to like to hang around the out skirts of light and dark. Allso the white light can illuminate the anglers in the boat,,fish are usually scared of seeing us..if you can see the fish they can see you. In the Pacific the sword boats use purple glow sticks cuz the purple light doesn't attract the bait fish that eat their sword bait,,,yet it still attracts the swordfish. Allso they say too much live bait will attract the sword away from yer dead bait. For the short time yer out fishing I wouldn't worry about the purple light thing,,, Cheers Ahi |
