    Hudson this weekend

Thinging of making a run out friday night for the saturday morning bite. I know there have been some reports from last week that sounded pretty good. Some reports you believe and some you dont. Just wondering if anyone has more update knowledge of what is going on out there. If the weather holds it should be a decent day.
Let me know if anyone has some good intel on the bite out there and if anyone else thinks it is worth the trip.

Planning on heading out on Friday morning from Highlands and spending the night.

Watching the weather and sea temps.

Based upon the SST sites (Rutgers and others) the warm 70+ water that was in the Hudson last week has moved south...looks like trailing edge is over the Toms.

There is an other body of warm water coming from the east. Hoping it makes it there by Friday Morning.

Hoping to get some reliable reports prior to heading off.

Will be on the Reel Turn On an 30' Albemarle. say hi if you make the trip.

spoke with some people and have heard numerous reports of fish there.

There was a few big eyes caught around and a lot of small little yellows but not the numbers they had south.

The toms south has been showing more life with yellowfins in the smaller class but some bigger fish too...

A few reliable reports of big eyes with a couple pigs in the mix. A couple dolphin and as noted some of those small yellowfin... There was a good looking piece of water (at least to me) near the south side of the mouth a couple days ago but again reliable sources said the bite was better on the inside of it.
Looks like the break moved out today. Tip of toms though looks promising...

The eddy that's coming into the fishtails and Jones Canyon is worth going too. and should be holding bigger fish by the looks of it, the Hudson cooled off temp wise

keep an eye on the weather. NOAA continues to make updates that show conditions getting more sporty than earlier predictions. That stalled front to the south is not helping.
