Hudson report 7-25

Left Sandy Hook @ Midnight, ran slow to the tip 4:30 am.. Smooth ride, water looked good in the underwater lights. Got set up and started down the west wall zig back and forth wall - deep - deep - wall... took a few nice dorado.. 8-12 lbs.. bunch of chicks by the pots. worked down the west wall turned to the east and hit the tongue, Water 74 clean hint of green, some life, birds, whale, dolphins but very scattered. No nock downs. went north to the 100 worked back to the west along the east wall.. back to the elbow and out into the deep... back to the tip.. Plugged in home 87nm reved her up to 2350 and did 32 knts home in 2.41 @ 44/ hr.... NICE! No tuners.. but great weather and a ton of laughs!
Just heard from a friend who was in the Toms.. sounds like we where too far north! Oh well.

Randy great to see your getting out on the water and having some fun. I would think the hudson will turn on in full force here in the next couple weeks. Look forward to more reports man.

Thanks for the report! A buddy of mine ran out yesterday as well and had similar results. Said there was all kinds of life so I am going to head off (weather permitting) on Sunday.
