Hudson Canyon report 8/21- 8/22(In$ufi$hent Fund$)

Fish the MA500 on friday with the Andiamo crew and left friday night to leave saturday at noon. Ride out was really nice we made it just at two hours trolled tell about 5pm with nothing and then pot jumped for mahi until dark we managed to get 12 mahi to about 15 pounds. We started at the tip and trolled to the 100 square where we set up for the night. we just added new lights to the Venture which brought bait to the boat almost instantly. We actually had a large scholl of a hundred or so triggers with us all night but we saw no tuna all night and at first light we had caught a lone longfin. We trolled until about 9am and then tiled for an hour and got nineteen tiles. I did hear other boats killed it though on the chunk not us. saw alot of life at the tip with huge dolphins.
