    Hudson Canyon report 7/29

    Some of the Insufishent Funds guys Fished the Hudson canyon on Sunday with Buddy(from prime coat) and Art on his beautiful 44 henriques, Andiamo. We arrived at the west wall at about 4:30 am and deployed our trolling spread. Our first fish was at 6:30am, a yellowfin about 60 lbs on a blue and white islander right behind our tournament cable bucket teasers. About an hour later we boated a 40lb long fin our first for the season. We had a couple more knockdowns but couldn't connect and at about 11:00 am we started tile fishing on the west wall. What started out slow on the first two drifts turned into a great pick of fish to 15lbs. Total we had 15 tilefish. At about 1:00 pm we started back up on the troll tell about 3:00 pm with no other bites. I would like to thank Chuck Richardson of Tournament Cable for supplying me with some unbelievable bucket teasers these things really work!!
