Great job! I'd love to see a bunch of big boys behind the boat like that. Too bad on the BFT, sounds like he put up a bit of a fight.

    Pez,

    Yowza, bigeyes! Very nice work.

Not fair whompin' on 'em with them Accurates, though. Couldn't hurt 'em fishing 'em over three hundred days a year down in Cabo, year after year. They are all that we fish, from the little Bosses up to the 130 ground pounder pulverizers. Top charterboats average a thousand or more billfish a year down there, literally thousands of yellowfin, very large numbers of dorado and, if they specialize in them and know what they are doing, big numbers of wahoo, including more than a few over a buck. Good tackle eats that up - so-so tackle GETS eaten up by it.

'Spensive, but worth it in long term maintenance alone.

Can't afford them? Those new Penn V's have earned some full time spots on our boats on both coasts. Penn now has my former chief reel engineer from Shimano, probably the most brilliant of all of the Japanese reel men (Accurate's staff of young American engineers are the best that I have ever seen - and for those who don't know, I ran Shimano for a long time and know who's who in that small world of special engineers), and those new Internationals are a reflection of some brilliant engineering by my old friend, Master Hideo Noda.

Purty reels/purty tooners...as good as it gets.

    Waytago!
