maybe it's not how often you are changing your ballyhoos, it could be that you are stretching your leaders a little to much, I have heard that you have a special technique used for stretching leaders, who loves ya man.

I am with you ronnie and I are constantly changing out baits at 12 bucks for a pack Id rather use up a couple baits than drag garbage behind the boat. If you want baits to last days just stick with lures. I think I got a ride this summer a couple slips down from you I cant wait. Ron and I were just talking about you the other day. i have been talking to Howard Burns he owns the Mai Jack III its a-34. I havent talked with him in about a month but last time we talked things were looking good.
