How Not to Gaff a Mahi, Redemption on a Feisty Sail Release Pretty Work

Well when you run as hard as we do, you will have a slip or two. Joe is a great mate and had his hands full errr or empty when trying to stick a Mahi on Sunday.

Luckily later on he had his cat like reflexes when a feisty sail decided to try and meet him face to face at the gunnel. Lucky for all of us the camera was rolling to catch Joe at work.

The boys found a nice school of mahi while looking for sails. All the mahi where gaffers with the biggest over 20lbs. They did come tight with a couple Sails to round out an exciting day on the water.

Yeah, he over-reached. But the angler should have backed up and gotten the fish closer to the boat.

    Interesting video. Thanks for posting.
