Since I'm in kind of a prejudicial mood after reading the Bluefin in NC thread, di dya'll happen to notice the accents?![]()
wonder why they killed her? tournament? or do they kill them for the dock show in Hawaii?
Sickening...from the boat handling to the leader "work", just pathetic to see Her sink with a gaff hole in Her belly.
I love a good WAKE!
Alfred's crew sucks!
OMG !! THAT'S A CRYIN SHAME !!![]()
I honestly can say i have never lost one that way. I don't have a problem with hanging one up every now and again, for whatever the reason, so long as they don't go to waste.
If you are going to kill one, that one presented one of the easiest I could have imagined. the crew was not prepared and a fish that may have lived if the gaff had never been swung ended up sinking away with a body piercing.
If you endeavor to kill a great fish like that, have your stuff together and ready. no one knew what they were supposed to do, nothing was ready and it showed. it is almost fortunate that the fish is the only thing that died as a result of that crew's negligence. Imagine if the man holding the none cleated flyer rope had become entangled in the rope?
