HOTEL BUOY

anyone know what going on with the noaa and the hotel buoy? seems they are not releaing any data due to it coming unmoored, however storm surf does have updated info. i thought noaa maintains it themselves.

I'd say surf is full of the old crapolla... Being that Hotel is sitting in one of Noaa's yards... It would be hard to get any data there...

i was thinking the same thing. even though it way east of the fishing grounds i look at it before i go out along with the delaware bay buoy. they really need to put one in the canyon area.

I just checked the Noaa weekly maintenance schedule link. They don't intend to redeploy Hotel until October
