Talking HOOLIGAN is going back home to NC.

Hooligan is taking the 43 Jarrett Bay back home to NC.I warned him that the seas would be more than A little rough but he shunned me!!He should be getting to Oregon inlet sometime SAT.He cant say I didnt warn him!Thats probably the worst inlet to go in on the entire east coast in those conditions. Will he make it through the inlet with the projected outlook for this weekends weather????

    Post question?

How rough will the conditions be in oregon inlet sat?and is it true that this is one of the most dangerous inlets on the east coast??seriously though I would think that with A 43 jarrett bay that it would go through anything with the right captain.

I have plenty of friends that were born and raised there that still pucker up when running in that Inlet. Saturday might not be the best day to see what the boat or the operator are made of!!!

It can be really bad if you don't know what your doing, and it's been described in several magazines as one of the worst in the country... especially in a NE wind. With that being said saturday's forecast is gonna be rough, but definitely doable.

Should be interesting for sure. That inlet can make a big boat feel very small.

Your advice after I told you I was holding off heading south till the beginning of the week based on North east conditions, was to go. I quote " You have a 43 Jarrett Bay what are you afraid of?"
That is coming out of some ones mouth who has never been at Oregon Inlet never mind in BIG NE CONDITIONS. Oregon inlet in those conditions is a big MISTAKE PERIOD!! That is common knowledge to anyone that has been through that inlet. Cape Hatteras and Oregon inlet are not for beginners in any condition, never mind bad conditions.

    NOW NOW BOYS....

i have been thru that inlet once!! thats it once... and it was not pretty.. i would never run that inlet and like ken said i puckered up!! lol

i dont think sal would be dumb enough to run it in a heavy ne nor do i think anyone would try it...

but then again.. i did not see any hooligan reports this year so maybe he didnt leave the dock?!? does that mean he forgot how to run his boat?!? lol

Lies will bite always come back to haunt you!!

It is obvious that you will not speak the truth. I'll let you have your fun. But I must ask you this question have you ever been through either Oregon or Hatteras inlets?? ....................................that's what I thought!!!

In fact if you have then please elaborate!!!
